Our Story

Dear Guest,

As Kaunos Hotel, we embarked on a journey to offer you unique tranquility right on the shore of Lake Köyceğiz, situated in Muğla's natural wonder district, Köyceğiz. Opening its doors in July 2011 after a complete renovation, our hotel is nestled in a quiet and serene location, free from city noise, on a coastal band exclusively open to pedestrians. While being connected with nature, Kaunos Hotel offers the privilege of being within walking distance to the center of Köyceğiz and is only a 30-minute drive from Dalaman Airport. We are ideally located close to key attractions and charming sea side towns such as Dalyan, the world-famous Iztuzu Beach, healing Sultaniye Hot Springs, the unique Ekincik Bay, Göcek, Marmaris, and Fethiye. Our hotel features a total of 57 modern and comfortable rooms, including rooms with spectacular lake view and 12 with city/mountain views.

Our hotel is situated right at the intersection of significant tourism routes that attract travelers from all around the world, such as the Lycian Way, the South Aegean, and Western Anatolia. We offer a unique alternative for back-to-back and closed groups, corporate guests, amateur and professional sports teams (especially cycling, rowing, and canoeing teams), as well as guests seeking a peaceful long-term stay. We serve as an ideal starting point for all travelers who love nature sports and have a passion for exploring historical and natural beauties. In this extraordinary geography blessed with an unmatched lake view, you will both deeply relax and accumulate unforgettable memories.
